Toronto pushes Canada new home prices up 0.2 pct in June

(Reuters) - New home prices in Canada rose 0.2 percent in June from the previous month, following a 0.3 percent monthly increase in May, Statistics Canada said on Thursday.

Price gains in the Toronto-Oshawa area accounted for most of the gain, posting a 0.3 percent rise on a monthly basis and 5.0 percent on the year.
