Bank of Canada buys back C$1 billion of bonds

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Bank of Canada said on Tuesday it bought back C$1 billion ($1.03 billion) of three government bonds in a cash management bond repurchase operation.

The next cash management bond repurchase operation will be September 18, 2012.
