Canadian building permits rise in May
OTTAWA (Reuters) - The value of Canadian building permits unexpectedly rose in May, climbing by 4.5 percent from April, Statistics Canada data indicated on Monday.
The government agency also revised April data to show the value of permits rose 11.2 percent that month, compared with the 10.5 percent originally reported.
