Dec 10 (Reuters) - - Canadian industrial production capacity climbed 0.6 percentage points to 82.0 percent in the third quarter of 2015, Statistics Canada said on Thursday.

The increase followed two consecutive quarterly declines and was largely attributed to increased oil and gas extraction, a sector that continues to feel the impact of low energy prices.

The manufacturing sector rose to 83.1 percent of capacity from 82.4 percent in the second quarter, largely on transportation equipment, vehicles and parts.
