TORONTO (Reuters) - Sino-Forest TRE.TO said on Monday it is further delaying the release of its third-quarter financial results until certain issues have been resolved to the satisfaction of its board of directors.
The embattled Sino-Canadian forestry company, whose shares have been halted for months following allegations of fraud, last month warned that it was delaying its results pending resolution of "outstanding issues." The company did not elaborate on the issues, at the time.
In a statement on Monday, Sino-Forest said the issues include determining the nature and scope of the relationships between Sino-Forest and certain of its authorized intermediaries and suppliers.
