TORONTO (Reuters) - The Canadian dollar hit its weakest level against the U.S. dollar in nearly two weeks on Tuesday after the Federal Reserve said market turbulence posed threats to growth, leaving the door open to further easing monetary policy easing.

The currency dropped to a session low of C$1.0328 against its U.S. counterpart, or 96.82 U.S. cents, its softest level since November 30.
