CANADA FX-C$ softens to session low after weak jobs report

TORONTO, March 9 (Reuters) - The Canadian dollar weakened to a session low against its U.S. counterpart after data showed domestic employment in February remained virtually unchanged with the loss of 2,800 jobs.

The currency hit C$0.9942 versus the greenback, or $1.0058, down from C$0.9927, or $1.0074 immediately before the release that fell below analyst estimates.
