CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls as resources hit by China growth fears

TORONTO, March 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was
sharply lower on Tuesday morning as mining issues fell amid
concerns about a slowdown in demand from top metals consumer
China.	
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was down 80.12 points, or 0.6 percent, to 12,399.58,
shortly after the open.
