1 Min Read

TORONTO, May 31 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index was
slightly higher on Thursday, as financial issues were boosted on
expectations of an Irish vote in favor of Europe's fiscal pact
and a poll showed Greece's conservative pro-bailout party has a
slim lead ahead of key June elections.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was up 57.51 points, or 0.5 percent, at 11,490.73.
