CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends down in low volume; miners, energy weigh

TORONTO, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index closed
lower on Monday, pushed down by broad falls in mining and energy
shares in thin trade.     
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 unofficially closed down 33.41 points, or 0.28
percent, at 12,048.82.
