CANADA STOCKS-TSX jumps at open as Fed rally prolonged

TORONTO, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index
opened firmly higher on Friday, joining in an extended rally on
global equity and commodity markets after the U.S. Federal
Reserve unleashed a long-awaited stimulus program on Thursday.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 73.57 points, or 0.60 percent, at 12,433.73.
