CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher, commodity issues lead gains

TORONTO, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose
at the open on Friday, boosted by gold miners and energy
companies as bullion and crude prices gained. 
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 61.53 points, or 0.5 percent, at 12,470.78
shortly after the open.
