CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as mining, energy shares rebound

TORONTO, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The main Canadian stock index
rose at the open on Tuesday as resource stocks made up for
losses a day earlier as they tracked  gold, oil and copper
prices higher.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 48.79 points, or 0.40 percent, at 12,362.33
shortly after the open.
