CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower as energy, mining shares slip

TORONTO, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The benchmark Canadian stock
index closed lower on Tuesday as heavyweight energy, materials
and financial shares all fell as concern about the health of the
global economy intensified.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 unofficially closed down 56.36 points, or 0.46
percent, at 12,257.18.
