CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on Spain speculation

TORONTO, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Tuesday, led by financials and energy shares, as euro
zone worries eased on expectations of an imminent bailout
request from Spain. 
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 opened up 8.28 points, or 0.07 percent, at 12,378.47.
before modestly extending gains.
