TORONTO, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Wednesday buoyed by economic optimism out of China,
while a 20 percent jump in Canadian Pacific Railway's
profits helped the rail operator lead the index higher.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was up 34.78 points, or 0.28 percent, at 12,260.62.
