CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on 'fiscal cliff' worries

TORONTO, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Thursday, led by the materials sector, as concerns
about the resolution of the U.S. fiscal crisis weighed on
investors.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was down 63.38 points, or 0.51 percent, at 12,289.71
shortly after the open.
