CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher, buoyed by Agrium, China growth

TORONTO, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Thursday, led by Agrium Inc after the
fertilizer maker raised its fourth-quarter earnings forecast,
and helped by data showing Chinese manufacturing growth hit a
two-year high this month. 
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 24 points, or 0.19 percent, at 12,818.05
shortly after the open.
