CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as gold-mining shares gain
TORONTO, May 14 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday as a higher bullion price boosted shares of gold-mining companies, more than offsetting declines in the financial and healthcare sectors. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 20.32 points, or 0.14 percent, at 14,700.13 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by James Dalgleish)
