CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens slightly lower in mixed start
TORONTO Dec 17 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened slightly lower on Wednesday, as miners mostly rose and some banks and energy stocks weighed.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 12.87 points, or 0.09 percent, at 13,848.65 shortly after the open. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
