CANADA STOCKS-TSX unchanged as Greek deal remains elusive

TORONTO, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index closed little changed on Wednesday as continuing hope for a Greek debt deal lifted financial shares, but gains were offset by losses among miners on discouraging German economic data and after the index bumped back from a key resistance level.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 8.6 points, or 0.1 percent, at 12,521.02. (Reporting By Jon Cook; Editing by Peter Galloway)
