CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower as Europe, China weigh

TORONTO, March 5 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index finished sharply lower on Monday after fresh economic data raised expectations of a recession in Europe and China signaled slower growth ahead.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down 119.87 points, or 0.95 percent, at 12,523.95.
