CANADA STOCKS-TSX slips at open as resources weigh

TORONTO, March 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's resource-heavy main stock index opened slightly lower on Monday as weak oil and metals prices pressured mining and energy shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index fell 1.34 points, or 0.01 percent, to 12,502.28 at the open.
