CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls as Europe worries flare up

TORONTO, April 5 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
opened lower on Thursday, tracking global markets as European
debt crisis worries crimped appetite for riskier assets, though
strong Canadian and U.S. jobs data provided some support.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
opened down 6.58 points, or 0.05 percent, to
12,172.08, before modestly extending losses.
