CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens down after poor jobs data; energy weighs

TORONTO, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Friday, led by sharp falls in some energy stocks, after
data showed the country's labor market unexpectedly shed jobs in
July.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was down 26.78 points, or 0.2 percent, at 11,831.99
shortly after the open.
