TORONTO, Aug 24 (Reuters) - Canadian stocks opened slightly
lower on Friday, weighed down by gold miners coming off a recent
rally while banks lent support.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 11 points, or 0.09 percent, at 12,051.51 soon
after the open.
