TORONTO, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index closed
lower on Tuesday as gains among banks and insurers failed to
fend off broad losses in energy and mining shares.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
unofficially closed down 38.92 points, or 0.32
percent, at 12,009.90.
