CANADA STOCKS-TSX jumps at open after ECB backs bond-buying

TORONTO, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index jumped
at the open on Thursday after the European Central Bank agreed
to launch a potentially unlimited bond-buying program in a bid
to draw a line under the region's debt crisis.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 gained 84.32 points, or 0.7 percent, to 12,073.33
shortly after the open.
