CANADA STOCKS-Energy and gold shares lift TSX to higher close

TORONTO, April 22 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index
advanced on Monday, extending its gains to a third straight
session as strength in commodity prices lifted shares of gold
and energy companies.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 unofficially closed up 25.13 points, or 0.21 percent,
at 12,090.68. Five of the 10 main sectors on the index were
higher.
