CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises with stronger commodity prices

TORONTO, May 6 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Monday, led by stronger financial shares and gains in
resource companies after commodity prices rose.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 37.78 points, or 0.30 percent, at 12,475.81
shortly after the open.
