CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on fears of stimulus rollback

TORONTO, May 23 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index
slumped on Thursday due to concerns about a
quicker-than-expected end to the U.S. Federal Reserve's stimulus
program, as well as weak economic data from China and Europe.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 113.30 points, or 0.89 percent, at 12,639.20
shortly after the open.
