1 Min Read

TORONTO, May 24 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Friday, led by weaker financial and energy shares, as
fears of an early end to the U.S. government bond-buying program
offset data showing positive economic sentiment in Germany.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 33.62 points, or 0.27 percent, at 12,624.47
shortly after the open.
