CANADA STOCKS-TSX retreats as data, commodity prices drag
TORONTO, May 31 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index closed lower on Friday, dragged by weaker financial and resource stocks as softer commodity prices and weak global economic data tempered sentiment. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index finished down 102.77 points, or 0.8 percent at 12,643.78. Nine of the index's 10 main groups declined.
