CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as euro zone data supports

TORONTO, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Tuesday, led by gains in financials, as positive
economic data out of Europe buoyed investor hopes for a steady
global economic recovery.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up 13.91 points, 0.11 percent, at 12,608.18
shortly after the open.
