CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as Fed worries hit sentiment

TORONTO, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Thursday as concerns about the U.S. Federal Reserve's
plans to begin dialing back its monetary stimulus program
weighed on investors.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was down 56.69 points, or 0.45 percent, at 12,582.61
shortly after the open.
