TORONTO, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Monday as modestly positive economic data from China
helped support shares in the materials sector, offsetting
declines in industrial stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was up 13.64 points, or 0.10 percent, at 13,901.85
shortly after the open.
