CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as German data, oil prices weigh
TORONTO, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Tuesday as weak economic data from Germany and a drop in the price of oil helped pull down shares of energy producers. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 21.68 points, was 0.15 percent, at 14,721.44 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak Editing by W Simon)
