CANADA STOCKS-TSX little changed as energy shares offset mining fall
TORONTO, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index was little changed on Wednesday as strength in the energy sector, which followed the price of oil higher, was offset by a decline in shares of gold miners. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 12.89 points, or 0.09 percent, at 14,534.82 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak Editing by W Simon)
