CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as banks, miners offset energy fall
TORONTO, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Thursday after gains in the financial and gold-mining sectors helped offset a drop in shares of energy producers, which followed oil prices lower. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 19.06 points, or 0.13 percent, at 14,875.26 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
