TORONTO, March 24 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index was little changed on Tuesday as sluggish economic data from China helped offset strength in the energy sector.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 11.65 points, or 0.08 percent, at 14,968.86 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
