CANADA STOCKS-Futures up as oil prices rise

April 22 (Reuters) - Stock futures pointed to a higher start for Canada's main stock index on Friday as oil prices hovered near $45 per barrel.

June futures on the S&P TSX index were up 0.07 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET.

Core CPI mm SA data for March is due at 8:30 a.m. ET

CPI inflation mm and yy data for March is due at 8:30 a.m. ET

CPI BoC core mm and yy data for March is due at 8:30 a.m. ET

CPI mm SA data for March is due at 8:30 a.m. ET

Retail sales and ex-autos data for February is due at 8:30 a.m. ET

Canada's main stock index fell on Thursday as losses for financial and consumer shares offset gains for resource stocks and a jump in shares of a healthcare company on reported takeover interest.

Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were up 0.08 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were up 0.18 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were down 0.02 percent.   Continued...
