CANADA STOCKS-TSX touches lowest point since October 2003
TORONTO, March 3 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index fell as much as 1.9 percent on Tuesday morning to touch its lowest level since October 2003, pulled down by weakness in the heavily weighted financials sector.
At 11:42 a.m. (1642 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 140.25 points, or 1.8 percent, at 7,547.26. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
