CANADA STOCKS-TSX extends decline on U.S. confidence data
TORONTO, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index extended its decline on Friday as U.S. confidence data undermined the market's faith in the global economic recovery.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 108.04 points, or 1 percent, at 10,717.52. Eight of its 10 main groups were lower, led by a 1.9 percent drop in the materials group and a 1.7 decline in energy. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
