CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens flat after U.S. CPI data

TORONTO Aug 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index was little changed at the opening bell on Friday, seeking direction after U.S. consumer price data suggested inflation would remain mild.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 5.78 points, or 0.05 percent, to 10,819.78 at the open. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
