CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises for fourth straight session
TORONTO, July 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index finished higher for a fourth-straight session on Thursday, as firmer commodity prices boosted the heavyweight resource sectors.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 81.41 points, or 0.8 percent, at 10,296.87. Nine of the TSX's 10 main groups were higher, led by a 1.3 percent rise in materials and a 0.8 percent gain in energy. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
