CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive on banking strength

TORONTO, May 19 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned positive on the back of strong financial and telecoms shares, but resource issues were still a main drag, in a volatile start to the session on Wednesday.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE edged up 0.98 of a point to 11,765.49.
