TORONTO Feb 20 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index tumbled more than 100 points early on Wednesday as falling commodity prices encouraged investors to lock in profits after a surge in the previous session.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 101.15 points, or 0.75 percent, at 13,346.59.
