CANADA STOCKS-Strong commodities drive TSX to new 2009 high
TORONTO May 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rallied more than 2 percent to hit a new 2009 high on Wednesday as rising oil and gold prices helped lift the resource-laden market.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE crossed the previous 2009 high of 10,340.78 to trade as high as 10,355.26. (Reporting by Jeffrey Hodgson; editing by Peter Galloway)
