S&P investigating delay in opening TSX numbers

TORONTO Feb 25 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange said opening numbers for its key stock index were delayed by nearly 15 minutes on Wednesday and that index compiler Standard & Poor's was investigating.

When the numbers did arrive, the Toronto Stock Exchange S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 5.02 points, or 0.06 percent, at 7,854.31. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; Editing by Peter Galloway)
