CANADA STOCKS-TSX rallies as oil, metal prices climb
TORONTO, March 26 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index pushed higher on Thursday afternoon as energy and materials issues rose in tandem with commodity prices and on expectations that stimulus measures might be working to jolt the economy.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 176.78 points, or 2.01 percent, at 8,974.22. (Reporting by Wojtek Dabrowski; editing by Rob Wilson)
